Flag Requests

If you are interested in having your Rhode Island or U.S. flag flown over the State House, please mail the flag along with a letter outlining your request to:

United States and Rhode Island flags that have been flown over the State House are available for purchase from the Governor’s Office of Constituent Services. These nylon flags are available at cost and payment must be made by check or money order addressed to “State of Rhode Island.”

If the flag is being flown for a special occasion, Governor Chafee may issue a citation to accompany the flag.
